The Chemical Safety Data Sheets and/or their mixtures are indispensable documents for the communication of the hazard and for the correct and safe handling of products throughout the supply chain.
The Safety Data Sheets contain specific information on health and environmental hazards that meet the classification criteria according to the applicable Community legislation (see Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008).
The relevant uses of the product, the physico-chemical properties, the toxicological information and the measures to be taken to effectively protect human health and the environment are other elements contained in them.
Safety Data Sheets have become an integral part of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH) on the registration, evaluation, authorisation and restriction of chemicals.
