Corporate ethics
IP Gruppo api defines corporate ethics as the moral values that guide the actions and behaviour of the company and its employees in carrying out its business. These are a fundamental pillar in terms of internal controls and risk management and are designed to reduce the likelihood of responsible carrying out of tasks being compromised.
To ensure the company’s standards and principles are upheld, Italiana Petroli has adopted an approach that consists of the Code of Ethics, an Organisational Management and Control Model, and anti-fraud tools , including whistleblowing.
Whistleblowing is a particularly important aspect of the anti-fraud measures as it promotes transparency. It reassures employees and any other person who has – or has had – dealings with the company that if they wish to report unlawful practices that may result in a negative outcome for the company, they can do so in total anonymity.
Corporate ethics also encompasses educating employees on how to apply rules and behaviour and how to deal with any potential critical situations.

IP Gruppo api has adopted - in compliance with the current legislation - a process of management of reports, even in anonymous form, able to contribute to the prevention and combating of illegal or contrary to the Organization Model, Management and Control ex D.lgs. n. 231/2001, the Anti Bribery&Corruption management system and the API Group Code of Ethics.
